The one in the back grew right on the edge of my plot, so it's impossible for it to have a 3x3 area to grow in. So they do not grow at all if they don't have the required 3x3 area? Because from what I've seen, they have not grown at all, and it's been nearly two seasons. If your low on wood then you should keep them, but they also take up room for crops. And the thing about getting rid of them is up to you. They don't have a purpose except for wood, nine pieces. It should go eventually, it isn't mandatory to water it every day, but it will grow faster.

Some lumber would be nice, but at the rate it's growing, it might not be worth it. Are they supposed to grow at a slower rate than other seedlings? It's kind of in my way, the way the one in front is positioned. I planted my apple seedling after these guys sprouted (the one in the back), but as you can see, even that is larger than these little trees.
